Our story
Cortrium is a Danish MedTech company co-founded in 2014 by Dr. Erik S. Poulsen, MD, MSc. His experience in cardiology and his practical experience as an engineer inspired him to improve how long-term ECG monitoring is done, and this has developed into ECG – made easy, for both patients and professionals. Hewlett Packard (HP) and WIRED (an American trade magazine) recognized him and his work and even awarded him the title “Healthcare Reinventor 2017”.
Today Cortrium delivers a long-term ECG solution integrating all steps into an easy-to-use service – from recording with state of-the-art hardware to ECG reporting, reviewed by clinical experts. ECG – made easy is still what drives us in Cortrium – and love to technology and to helping heart patients. Because we are on a mission to prevent strokes and detect cardiac arrhythmias by supporting professionals with accurate and quick diagnosis of patients.
